  2. I own this diecast but mine is a Canadian tire edition painted in red and black with miniature boxes, a door, a bumper and other parts in the bed at the back (Canadian Tire sells vehicule parts), so, the Canadian Tire version is apart the other ones that I have seen up to date. These 1954 International Harvester truck diecasts were also produced in a Napa version and probably other ones. It is said to be a 1/24 scale but to my opinion il looks more 1/25 scale. A beautiful, very detailed truck. Sold by Liberty Classic but I think that they are produced by another company, probably First Gear (First Gear makes 2 panel versions, with glasses or with no glasses, but a 1953 instead (but same front clip). First Gear are also producing a small line of 1/25 scale trucks but their regular scale seems to be 1/34 as they produce many trucks of this scale. Curious, 1/34 is a very unusual scale.
I stripped my ’54 Inter in parts and removed the bed. I started to lenghten the frame and I want to install a flat bed or a stake bed on it and I have some really well done one ton wheels with dually wheels at the back. I want to build a gardiner’s truck. I have the wheelbarrow and miniature rakes, shovels etc.And me and my ex-girlfriend have crafted figurines of gardiners working in a park diorama. The park started very small, about 12 inch by 16 inch and it was several times stretched to finally 24 by 48… but would need to be extended more as more ideas and material came around.
